My name is Joy. Many have said that my parents really nailed it when they named me Joy because I exude just that. If you are looking for someone who is super serious and no fun, you may want to just stop reading now.

My most favorite thing and goal in photography is capturing real people in real moments. Don't worry I won't expect you to know what to do either, I will be there to guide you every step of the way! The "in-between" moments, where I catch people unaware of my camera are my favorite. I want you to feel so comfortable and free to be yourself, just enjoying one another, forgetting that my camera is even there.

Personally, I have been married to my best friend on earth since 2008, and we have been together since we were seventeen. I can relate to you when you are super excited to be marrying your best friend, because I'm married to mine. I still miss him when he's gone and am a firm believer in enduring love and marriages. I'm also a mother of two boys who make my life more fun than I could have ever imagined.

My most favorite thing is documenting authentic moments and lots of laughs! I want you to look back on your photos and be like, "That is so US!" When I'm not photographing people in love you will find me hanging with my family, eating popcorn and probably watching the office, in no particular order.
